BDM&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Formulate and assess growth strategies, investment prospects, and business expansion projects.

• Develop and sustain financial models, valuation assessments, and investment business cases.

• Analyze project economics and capital needs; propose optimal financing arrangements.

• Assist with project and acquisition financing endeavors.

• Discover opportunities to enhance existing businesses and venture into adjacent markets through acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, greenfield endeavors, and strategic investments.

• Oversee and facilitate the complete execution of M&A, JV, and strategic investment initiatives.

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence workstreams, including commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational, technical, and ESG evaluations.

• Prepare and deliver investment proposals, strategic assessments, and transaction updates to senior management, executive leadership, and governance committees.

• Track investment and strategic project performance against sanctioned business plans.

• Aid in integration planning, value creation projects, and post-investment evaluations.

• Contribute to the development of corporate strategy, encompassing country, regional, and business strategic reviews, along with Board materials.

• Participate in and assist with the preparation for investment committees.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in an investment bank, private equity fund, transaction advisory, management consulting firm, corporate development, or M&A within a multinational corporation.

• Demonstrated experience in evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic investments, joint ventures, partnerships, and M&A transactions.

• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and overseeing multiple workstreams in a complex, matrixed organization.

• Familiarity with commodities, agriculture, food, industrial, or related sectors is preferred.

• Experience with corporate strategy initiatives is advantageous.

• Capacity to work independently, prioritize competing objectives, and produce high-quality work within tight deadlines.

• Robust commercial insight, analytical abilities, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Willingness to travel as required; travel varies depending on project needs.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong capabilities in financial modeling, valuation, and presentation development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of one or more Southeast Asia (SSEA) languages is a plus.

• Degree in Business/Accounting or an MBA or Master's Degree in Finance.
