This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish Takkion's market presence by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and finalizing business partnerships for Takkion business units.
• Cultivate relationships with existing clients and promote additional services.
• Leverage Takkion’s extensive service offerings while anticipating client needs and objectives.
• Formulate strategies to seize new business prospects.
• Reach out to potential partners to identify and investigate new opportunities.
• Conduct research on industry trends and events, and evaluate market strategies.
• Assess risks and opportunities while performing competitive analyses.
• Evaluate prospective business deals by reviewing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial aspects.
• Create sales presentations and proposals.
• Advise on equity investments.
• Develop and negotiate contracts in collaboration with Takkion’s management team.
• Strengthen Takkion’s reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests, seeking opportunities to add value, engaging in professional organizations, and nurturing personal networks.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, values, and safety protocols.
• Adapt to flexible working hours and travel as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years in Business Development is required.
• Experience in the wind industry or a related field is preferred.
• Strong market knowledge.
• Preferred experience in the Transportation / Logistics sector.
• Preferred experience in the Crane industry.
• Experience managing five or more direct reports.
• Willingness to travel nationally.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism, and high energy.
• Skills in sales planning, addressing customer needs, and achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Experience in contract negotiations and closures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capability to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Openness to change, along with flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuously improving business operations.
• Willingness to support other teams and tackle challenges.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time and as required.
• Capability to obtain a passport.
• Flexible work schedules as needed.
