BCM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Implementation of a Business Continuity Management (BCM) system for a long-term public-sector initiative

• Conducting and assessing Business Impact Analyses

• Executing BCM risk assessments and integrating these with risk evaluations in accordance with BSI Standard 200-3

• Formulating emergency preparedness strategies and creating emergency manuals

• Developing business continuity and recovery/restart plans

• Planning, executing, and assessing emergency tests and drills

• Deriving actionable measures from tests and drills

• Leading workshops with business units, development teams, and operations

• Gaining familiarity with intricate subject matter and technical interconnections

⛳️ Requirements

• Residence in Germany

• Native-level proficiency in German (minimum fluency required)

• Extensive project experience in emergency and continuity management (BCM)

• Comprehensive knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz, particularly BSI Standard 200-4 and BSI Standard 200-3

• Good working familiarity with BSI Standards 200-1 and 200-2

• Proven track record of establishing a BCM system, at least encompassing the reactive through build-up phases as outlined in BSI Standard 200-4

• Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating Business Impact Analyses (BIA)

• Experience in conducting BCM risk analyses and aligning them with risk assessments under BSI Standard 200-3

• Proven experience in developing emergency preparedness strategies, emergency manuals, and business continuity and recovery/restart plans

• Experience in planning, executing, and assessing emergency tests and drills, including the formulation of follow-up measures

• Independent, organized, and proactive working approach

• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities

• Eagerness to engage with intricate subject matter and technical relationships

• Proficient in Jira and Confluence
