BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform continuous evaluations to address the needs of the patients served.

• Engage with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and other relevant individuals regarding the progress of individuals.

• Provide supervisors with a monthly itinerary of appointments, home visits, and observations.

• Organize home, workplace, and/or community-based visits for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.

• Ensure the effective and proper implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan.

• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other relevant meetings as necessary.

• Complete monthly and/or quarterly progress reports.

• Arrange training to ensure staff and team members are proficient in executing Behavior Intervention Plans and documentation procedures.

• Conduct follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to provide ongoing support.

• Maintain comprehensive clinical records.

• Serve as a liaison with the public and mental health community to support ongoing objectives.

• Assist in developing training materials and procedures to enhance programs.

• Engage in continuing education focused on behaviorally based interventions and techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in behavioral intervention and/or a strong educational background in learning and developmental psychology is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those facing behavioral challenges.

• Reliable transportation is essential.

• Ability to perform physical activities, which include standing for long periods, bending, and transitioning from seated to standing frequently.

• In Georgia: A Master’s degree in psychology, special education, counseling, social work, or a related field OR certification as a BCBA, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist/Psychiatrist.

• In Georgia: All applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience providing positive behavioral supports to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

• In Georgia: Documented coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis must be reflected on the resume or transcript.

• Conducting appointments in residential homes, schools, family homes, workplaces, and other community settings necessitates reliable transportation.
