Baseband L3 Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Baseband L3 software utilizing C/C++

• Execute software functionalities in alignment with technical specifications and system demands

• Operate within Linux/Embedded Linux environments

• Create and troubleshoot software that involves multi-threading, concurrency, and real-time processing

• Engage with communication interfaces and protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or equivalent technologies

• Diagnose software issues through logs, traces, GDB, and various development tools

• Contribute to code reviews, testing, integration, and software debugging

• Collaborate with engineers focused on L1, L2, L3, platform, hardware, and testing

• Acquire knowledge and apply concepts related to 4G/5G Baseband, Layer 3 protocols, and 3GPP specifications

• Consistently enhance code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field

• Proficient programming skills in C/C++

• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, pointers, memory management, and object-oriented programming principles

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

• Fundamental understanding of computer systems, operating systems, or embedded systems

• Basic awareness of networking or communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.

• Capability to interpret technical documentation and resolve programming issues

• Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills

• Eagerness to learn about telecommunications and Baseband technologies

• Preferred qualifications: Experience in 4G/5G, LTE, NR, RAN, or Baseband development

• Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols like RRC or NAS

• Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of 3GPP specifications

• Preferred qualifications: Experience in Embedded Linux or firmware development

• Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks

• Preferred qualifications: Experience in multi-threaded or real-time application development

• Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with ARM/SoC/DSP platforms

• Preferred qualifications: Proficiency with debugging tools like GDB, Valgrind, AddressSanitizer, or Wireshark

• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Git/Gerrit, CMake, Make, or CI/CD
