Bankruptcy & Reorganization Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide expert guidance to clients across various sectors regarding insolvency, restructuring, and bankruptcy issues.

• Prepare, analyze, and negotiate restructuring plans, forbearance agreements, financing documents, purchase agreements, and other documents related to bankruptcy.

• Counsel clients on Chapter 11 proceedings, creditor rights, insolvency challenges, and financial restructuring initiatives.

• Collaborate with clients, business teams, and external legal counsel on bankruptcy cases, distressed transactions, and workouts.

• Oversee legal matters involving distressed businesses, debt obligations, claims, and asset sales.

• Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy law and restructuring practices to offer proactive legal advice.

• Partner with prominent clients on major restructuring issues and assist in developing effective legal strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the field of bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency law.

• Comprehensive understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings, creditor rights, and the restructuring process.

• Demonstrated experience in advising clients on bankruptcy issues, financial workouts, or distressed transactions.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving abilities.

• Juris Doctor degree is required.

• Must hold an active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, committees, or other stakeholders in bankruptcy and restructuring scenarios.

• Familiarity with out-of-court restructurings, distressed debt, debtor-in-possession financing, asset sales, or plan confirmations.

• Must possess the necessary legal authorization to work.
