This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Diagnose, repair, and carry out preventive maintenance on banking security equipment, which includes cameras, access controls, and alarm systems.
• Install, program, test, repair, and maintain drive-up systems, locksmith services, and electronic equipment.
• Install, repair, rebuild, and service remote drive-up systems along with audio and video equipment.
• Manage locking mechanisms including drawer locks, vaults, secure keyways, and other banking-specific systems.
• Assist with electrical and electronics projects.
• Install, configure, and provide support for network systems and equipment as needed.
• Attend to customer service requests, scheduled maintenance, emergencies, and after-hours service calls.
• Set up new units, carry out final connections and testing, and deliver training sessions.
• Recognize project challenges and contribute to strategies that reduce costs and schedule delays.
• Review completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and manufacturer standards.
• Estimate costs for replacement equipment, including time and materials.
• Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and service work-related equipment.
• Guide less experienced staff and escalate only the most complex issues to higher levels.
• Collaborate with team members and inform management about customer satisfaction, product performance, installation methods, standards, and potential improvements.
• Perform tasks according to regulations, best practices, and the company's health and safety policies.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Proficient understanding of banking-industry drive-up, locking, and electronic systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of DVRs and NVRs connected to remote systems.
• Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Capability to adapt effectively to changing circumstances or information.
• Preferred but not mandatory: technical diploma and/or relevant trade experience, such as electrician experience.
• Preferred but not mandatory: one year of technician experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operation environment.
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience in electronic, fire alarm and life safety, and/or building automation sectors.
• Must have expertise in at least one specialization: locksmithing, drive-up systems, or electronic security.
• Must adhere to applicable regulations, best practices, and company health and safety policies.
• Must possess a valid driver's license (the position requires 'Drive' but is 'Not CDL').
