Backend Team Lead – Scanner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee team execution across multiple workstreams and ensure the delivery of high-quality sprints.

• Take charge of the Sprint Planning process.

• Collaborate with other departments to eliminate obstacles and support inter-team dependencies.

• Enhance team velocity and individual skills through coaching, mentoring, and identifying areas for improvement.

• Own the technical design of scalable, reliable, and clean features developed by the team.

• Engage in high-scale cloud-based development utilizing AWS and MongoDB.

• Perform thorough code reviews.

• Work closely with Product Managers from the initial concept stage through to production.

• Participate in technical discussions with customers.

• Facilitate domain-related conversations and liaise with internal Customer Success team members.

• Lead discussions and make technical decisions regarding enhancements and new feature planning.

• Integrate AI tools and workflows into daily development practices, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and prompt-driven prototyping.

• Promote efficient delivery while ensuring stability and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on development experience.

• At least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.

• Extensive expertise in Node.js (essential).

• Familiarity with AWS (essential).

• Experience with React is preferred.

• Python experience is an advantage.

• Early adopter of AI technologies with a passion for enhancing developer experience and system performance through AI.

• Proven ability to manage project execution and deliver end-to-end features in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to lead a global team and effectively communicate complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
