Backend Team Lead – Scanner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of the team across multiple workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes in every sprint.

• Take ownership of the Sprint Planning process.

• Act as the primary liaison between the team and other departments to eliminate obstacles and facilitate cross-team dependencies.

• Enhance team velocity and individual skills through coaching, mentoring, and identifying areas for development.

• Take responsibility for the technical design of team features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and a clean architecture.

• Engage in high-scale, cloud-based development utilizing AWS and MongoDB.

• Conduct thorough code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to refine features from initial concept to production.

• Participate in technical discussions with customers.

• Serve as a key point of contact for domain-specific discussions and manage communication with internal Customer Success teams.

• Lead discussions and make technical decisions regarding enhancements and planning for new features.

• Integrate AI tools and workflows into the daily development process, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and prompt-driven prototyping.

• Foster a culture where speed does not compromise stability, ensuring the team effectively utilizes modern tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of hands-on development experience.

• A minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership capacity.

• Extensive expertise in Node.js (essential).

• Familiarity with React (preferred).

• Knowledge of AWS (essential).

• Experience with Python is a plus.

• Early adopter of AI technologies with a passion for leveraging AI to enhance developer experience and system performance.

• Proven ability to manage project execution and deliver end-to-end features in a dynamic environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Capability to lead a global team and convey complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Full-time availability with standard daily hours and reasonable working hours overlap with teams in Israel and the EU.
