Backend Software Engineer, Java/Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java/Kotlin applications for enterprise use.

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend business requirements and gather technical specifications.

• Participate in technical discussions and recommend suitable software solutions.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers.

• Create clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to engineering best practices.

• Diagnose intricate technical problems and lead efforts to resolve them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented software design principles.

• Significant experience in creating and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications.

• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and enterprise Java development.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in SQL and relational database management.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

• Background in Agile/Scrum development environments.
