Backend Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Enhance and develop new features for AppMagic, Sensor Tower’s app market intelligence SaaS platform aimed at SMBs.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, encompassing design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Analyze data and execute data aggregation tasks.

• Design and implement APIs.

• Refactor code to improve performance and efficiency.

• Develop and optimize intricate database queries for data analysis and modification.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Recommend enhancements to tools and processes.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers on robust, large-scale data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Go; candidates with less experience may be considered if they provide significant GitHub contributions and coding samples.

• Proficient in SQL, with experience in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

• Capable of selecting the appropriate approach between ORM and raw SQL.

• Skilled at writing and debugging complex queries.

• Able to produce testable, reliable code.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset with a strong focus on product excellence.

• Exhibit proactive curiosity and the initiative to independently explore sources.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Must be able to pass technical interviews conducted in both Russian and English.

• Hands-on and thoughtful application of AI tools in the development process.

• Authorized to work in Georgia without the need for visa support now or in the future.
