Backend Developer – Senior I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical point of contact within the Human Resources ecosystem for the integration of SAP and the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors.

• Architect and refine highly scalable backend systems.

• Create communication channels between SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, and other applications.

• Oversee code reviews and advocate for SOLID principles, design patterns, and automated unit testing.

• Collaborate within agile development methodologies, including pair programming.

• Anticipate changes and adapt to product evolution proactively.

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, proxies, and microservices utilizing Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Manage infrastructure resources across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

• Uphold engineering governance aligned with the Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR).

• Assist in secrets management and information security using AWS Secrets Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience and background in backend development.

• Strong understanding of architecture for scalable solutions, including the creation and consumption of RESTful APIs and proxies.

• Advanced skills and hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, React, and React Native.

• Thorough knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and design patterns.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS (EC2, S3, Secrets Manager) and Google Cloud.

• Proven experience with automated unit testing, integration testing, and conducting code reviews.

• Proactive, collaborative, organized, resilient, and highly adaptable in fast-paced environments.

• Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem and experience implementing the SAP SuccessFactors module (a plus).

• Experience with Service Desk tools in an ITSM environment (a plus).

• Knowledge of DoD and DoR technical governance practices (a plus).
