Backend Developer, Python, Specialist I – Direct Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the Agent Platform team, a centralized system for the creation, management, and operation of LLM agents across Grupo Boticário’s various business channels.

• Develop an agent development platform that empowers functional teams to utilize GenAI independently.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to realize the technical vision of the products.

• Write clean and optimized code.

• Engage actively in technical reviews to minimize the squad’s technical debt.

• Collaborate with Product and Design to implement and enhance the Agent Platform interface.

• Ensure product quality through testing, accessibility, journey tagging/analytics, and frontend observability.

• Implement frontend and backend solutions with a focus on quality, performance, best practices, simplicity, and user experience.

• Develop, unit test, deploy, and monitor solutions.

• Enhance applications, identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and design and implement systems.

• Take part in product implementation decisions.

• Maintain, enhance, and review existing code through Code Reviews and Pair Programming.

• Keep documentation current.

• Work collaboratively and seek innovative, viable solutions to challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in web development using React.

• Significant experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E).

• Proficient in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Sonar.

• Knowledge of the AWS platform.

• Familiarity with secure development practices, security assessments, vulnerabilities, and incident response.

• Understanding of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.

• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional, multi-language, and collaborative setting.

• Pragmatic problem-solving approach.

• Proactive, curious, and analytical mindset, with the ability to apply systems thinking to detailed analyses.

• Capability to discuss frontend trade-offs and communicate effectively with Design and Product teams.

• Experience utilizing AI assistants in the development workflow, such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to align with business requirements.

• Experience integrating LLM APIs, GenAI engines, or agent platforms.

• Proven experience developing and deploying LLM-based solutions in production settings.

• Background in backend development using Python and Django or an equivalent framework, with the ability to evolve the BFF alongside the frontend.
