This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate in identifying and addressing complex technical challenges within the Bonus Management product.
• Offer technical support, insights, and guidance informed by industry best practices.
• Establish and uphold quality standards and internal processes, and conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for incidents.
• Oversee the implementation of Information Security policies (Security by Design) across microservices.
• Develop features and resolve incidents of medium to high complexity, prioritizing both quality and performance.
• Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and spearhead efficiency and scalability optimizations.
• Collaborate with Product, the Tech Manager, and developers to plan and design architecture for new features and enhancements.
• Investigate and apply technological innovations, including Artificial Intelligence.
• Provide technical mentoring and disseminate knowledge and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the Bonus Management product.
• Strong background in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with cloud architecture and services, particularly AWS and GCP / Google Cloud.
• Capability to compare technologies, conduct trade-off analyses, and evaluate/define optimal solutions (messaging/queues, microservices, databases, etc.).
• Proven experience in designing and optimizing scalable, resilient, and highly available architectures for complex and mission-critical scenarios.
• Familiarity with and/or interest in exploring and implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions, along with practical knowledge of relevant concepts.
• Previous experience or knowledge in the finance, accounting, or payments industry is advantageous.
• Experience in migrating large-scale legacy systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in highly dynamic environments and demonstrate adaptability.
