This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, test, and implement solutions for intricate software challenges, emphasizing innovation and high availability.
• Incrementally write and test code utilizing agile methodologies and comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and assist in making technical and architectural design choices.
• Carry out continuous deployment, monitoring, logging, and support for production applications.
• Enhance and maintain the payments platform by diagnosing root causes and reducing the impact of incidents.
• Work collaboratively with partner teams, such as GBBS, to refine technical aspects of user stories.
• Collaborate on future architectural decisions regarding the platform.
• Contribute to the development of the V2 platform, particularly in the Credit vertical (Credit as a Service).
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Established experience in unit and integration testing.
• Proficient with Git or another collaborative version control system.
• Experience in configuring and managing scheduled jobs.
• Preferred: background in financial solutions, payments, or fintech companies.
• Preferred: knowledge of frontend development.
• Preferred: experience with systems that are highly available, real-time, fault-tolerant, mission-critical, as well as infrastructure automation, specialized platforms, or service provisioning.
