This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

• Create, develop, and implement backend services that drive core products.

• Maintain and enhance backend services and APIs utilizing Python.

• Design and execute event-driven workflows through AWS Step Functions.

• Integrate and utilize Large Language Models with AWS Bedrock to enable AI-driven features.

• Manage and utilize AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3.

• Architect and construct large-scale, high-availability systems with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and security.

• Engage with microservices and containerized environments through Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data scientists to provide comprehensive solutions.

• 3-5 years of experience in backend software engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with AWS services.

• Proficiency in Python for backend development.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions and event-driven architecture.

• Strong understanding of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3.

• Capability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability systems.

• Experience working with microservices and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

• Familiarity with integrating LLMs with AWS Bedrock.

• Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.

• Knowledge of Kafka or other event-streaming systems.

• Expertise in AWS observability tools like CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Background in developing complex AI-driven workflows that integrate structured logic with LLM reasoning.
