Backend Developer – ERP Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain intricate features that affect various platform modules: Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Tax, and Accounting.

• Convert the implications of the Tax Reform into software architecture while ensuring comprehensive compliance with business regulations.

• Analyze execution plans, create indexes, manage deadlocks, and optimize SQL Server queries for tables containing millions of rows.

• Leverage AI tools for refactoring legacy code, generating tests, conducting code reviews, and enhancing productivity.

• Construct and optimize both internal and external integrations, guaranteeing resilient, swift, and secure communication within the ERP ecosystem.

• Investigate and resolve intricate incidents escalated by Level 3 Support by analyzing logs, executing diagnostic queries, and rectifying issues that impact customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable experience in developing the core components of management systems (ERPs).

• At least 5 years of verified experience in PHP programming.

• Emphasis on high availability, clean code principles, and the application of design patterns in complex systems.

• Advanced understanding of SQL Server optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of modeling, concurrency, locks, and performance strategies for extremely large databases.

• Clear grasp of current tax business regulations and the implications of the Tax Reform (IBS/CBS and the transition).

• Practical experience leveraging AI code assistants such as Gemini CLI, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.

• Familiarity with cloud environments.

• Proficiency in version control using Git/GitHub.

• Understanding of CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
