Backend Developer, Camunda, Orchestration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop the orchestration and workflow framework that supports the tracking of electronic application lifecycles and electronic document management.

• Implement workflow and BPMN logic based on Camunda within the orchestration framework.

• Provide services that deliver application status information to the advisor portal.

• Design and test orchestration flows.

• Integrate orchestration solutions with backend source systems.

• Assist with entitlement and access requirements.

• Collaborate within an Agile team under the guidance of senior technical leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Camunda workflow and process orchestration, including BPMN modeling and implementation.

• Preferred experience with Camunda 8 and Zeebe.

• Background in developing RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with Maven-based applications deployed on Azure and AKS.

• Skilled in building and integrating orchestration flows with backend source systems through APIs and messaging or queue patterns, such as JMS and ActiveMQ.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and service orchestration design involving multi-step transaction lifecycles.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments utilizing Git-based CI/CD workflows, GitHub, and pull request-based processes.

• Familiarity with integrating document management systems like Alfresco or similar enterprise content management platforms, including OnBase, Documentum, or OpenText preferred.

• Experience with MuleSoft or similar API gateway technologies or Salesforce data integration preferred.

• Background in financial services or banking environments preferred.
