This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and maintain Python and Go services and APIs for product features and detections.
• Create features focused on shared identities, evidence, relationships, and historical context.
• Leverage existing data capabilities and address interface requirements in collaboration with Platform Engineering.
• Transform detection methods developed by researchers into robust production services with clear inputs, outputs, and evaluation criteria.
• Build APIs that present threat evidence and facilitate customer investigation workflows alongside Product and frontend engineers.
• Implement dependable reevaluation and customer notifications when there are changes in underlying evidence or intelligence.
• Conduct tests for failure handling, detection regressions, and authorization boundaries.
• Design systems for safe retries, idempotency, and consistent behavior in asynchronous and event-driven workflows.
• Ensure tenant isolation and access controls; maintain evidence and source context for results.
• Enhance observability, troubleshoot production issues, and boost reliability and performance as usage increases.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, estimations, and documentation efforts.
• Identify ambiguous requirements and dependencies.
• Validate AI-generated code before its integration into production software.
• Take ownership of defined capabilities from technical design through testing, release, and production support.
• Proven experience in developing SaaS products and/or product features on shared data platforms.
• Experience in building, deploying, and supporting backend software in a production environment.
• Strong skills in Python or Go, with a willingness to gain proficiency in the other language.
• Experience in designing or implementing APIs and integrating services with databases and both internal and external systems.
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing, distributed system failure modes, and effective reliability patterns.
• Capability to write maintainable code and automated tests, review the work of others, and debug production issues.
• Understanding of secure software development practices, authorization, and safeguarding customer data.
• Ability to convert product requirements into service designs and implementations, collaborating with domain specialists to clarify requirements.
• Awareness of how data quality, freshness, relationships, and access permissions influence feature functionality and customer outcomes.
• Skill in documenting decisions and coordinating tasks within a remote team.
• Eagerness to learn AI-assisted development methodologies and critically assess generated code.
• Relevant experience with both Python and Go would be advantageous.
• Experience in cybersecurity products, threat intelligence, or detection engineering would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Azure, event-driven architectures, or multitenant applications would be helpful.
• Experience in developing customer features on a data platform, including utilizing shared APIs, data models, graph services, or analytical services, would be useful.
• Experience working with researchers or integrating machine learning outputs into production workflows could be advantageous.
• Practical experience with AI development tools, combined with automated testing and code review, would be beneficial.
