Back-end Development Specialist, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold the new platform.

• Collaborate closely with the team to identify challenges and devise solutions.

• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies.

• Maintain code quality and testing coverage in line with banco BV’s technical standards.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the systems architecture, cloud environment, and IT processes at banco BV.

• Develop applications and software based on project specifications and requirements.

• Conduct testing, identify and rectify issues, bugs, and code defects.

• Document code to aid in maintenance and updates.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team in delivering solutions.

• Create efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Research and implement new technologies.

• Monitor and track systems in production.

• Take part in periodic audits by supplying information and evidence.

• Assist in onboarding new professionals and share knowledge regarding processes and service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed higher education degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in programming languages (preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of frameworks and technologies (preferred).

• Advanced understanding of databases (preferred).

• Advanced familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferred).

• Experience with both traditional and Agile methodologies (preferred).

• Experience using repositories such as Git (preferred).

• Experience with cloud technologies (preferred).

• Experience with CI/CD processes (preferred).

• Specialization in authentication, authorization, and SSO utilizing OAuth2.

• Substantial experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.

• Proficiency in Spring Security, Spring Authorization Server, Keycloak, Azure AD, Auth0, and other identity solutions.

• Experience with Identity Providers (IdPs), Resource Servers, and Authorization Servers.

• Familiarity with OAuth2 clients and grant types such as Authorization Code, Client Credentials, and Refresh Token.

• Experience with RBAC and ABAC.

• Experience in configuring authorization policies and integrating with LDAP and AD.

• Experience in hardening REST endpoints with custom scopes and claims.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Camel, Dataflow, JPA, Hibernate, and JUnit.

• Proficient in Java.

• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture using Kafka.

• Knowledge of Sybase, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and BigQuery.

• Familiarity with CAAPI and Apigee.

• Knowledge of Git and GitFlow.

• Familiarity with Jenkins and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of GCP.

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Memorystore.

• Familiarity with Dynatrace and Kibana.

• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Jira.
