This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Create and improve backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop scalable, secure, and highly available RESTful APIs.

• Contribute to the development and advancement of microservices-based architectures.

• Build integrations between internal systems and enterprise platforms.

• Engage in defining technical solutions and making architectural decisions.

• Maintain code quality through best development practices and code reviews.

• Implement unit tests and support strategies for automated testing.

• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues in both development and production settings.

• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development teams.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and execution of deliveries.

• Foster continuous improvements in application architecture, performance, and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Strong software engineering background, with substantial hands-on experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages.

• Proven experience in developing and operating systems using Java, microservices, and APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js).

• Familiarity with service containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (including AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift, and others).

• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, and StarTeam.

• Understanding of continuous integration, automated deployment, unit testing, TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience with both private and public cloud environments such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Dedication to writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes.
