Azure Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead technical initiatives with Microsoft Azure to collaboratively develop solutions utilizing Intel Xeon processors and accelerators.

• Manage account relationships through collaborative efforts across various functions and companies, including stakeholder engagement and creating joint value propositions, leading to proofs of concept and large-scale implementations.

• Align opportunities from both first-party and third-party workloads with Intel technology, Azure's strategic direction, and customer requirements.

• Enhance AI, analytics, database, and other significant workloads on Intel platforms to showcase performance and total cost of ownership benefits.

• Resolve technical challenges related to Azure's utilization of Intel hardware and collaborate with internal engineering teams.

• Establish trusted relationships with Microsoft stakeholders, serving as a technical advisor and supporter for Intel.

• Influence Azure's strategic direction by aligning Intel's product strategy with Microsoft's infrastructure and service plans.

• Monitor competitive dynamics involving AMD, NVIDIA, and ARM to effectively position Intel's value proposition.

• Collaborate with Microsoft’s engineering, sales, and marketing teams as well as internal Intel stakeholders.

• Propel Intel's business on Azure through customer interactions, strategic partnerships, and optimization of workloads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in technical positions, such as systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical program management.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Strong comprehension of datacenter and cloud infrastructure, including CPUs, accelerators, networking, and virtualization.

• Experience in workload performance optimization, telemetry analysis, and system-level tuning.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Experience working directly with Microsoft Azure or other large-scale cloud service providers.

• Familiarity with Intel Xeon architecture, firmware (BIOS/BMC), and platform-specific features.

• Knowledge of AMD EPYC, NVIDIA GPUs, and ARM-based technologies.

• Experience in co-developing or collaboratively engineering solutions with major enterprise customers.

• Background in AI/ML, confidential computing, or technologies related to workload acceleration.

• Must reside and work in the United States.
