Azure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and accounting personnel to gather, document, and refine both business and system requirements.

• Convert requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and data mapping documents.

• Assist in enhancing the student health insurance platform, managing school migrations, refining billing processes, executing data migration tasks, and facilitating system integrations.

• Conduct advanced data analysis, reconciliation, and validation across various systems and data sources.

• Evaluate inbound and outbound carrier, enrollment, eligibility, and financial data files.

• Lead requirements workshops, backlog refinement sessions, system demonstrations, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Aid in the analysis of production issues and investigations into root causes.

• Utilize Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven tools to expedite the analysis of requirements, documentation, and development of user stories.

• Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all project activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in support of software development projects.

• Proficient in SQL, data mapping, transformation logic, and Agile methodologies using tools like Jira.

• Capable of independently analyzing complex datasets, identifying discrepancies, questioning assumptions, and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting billing, accounting, finance, or premium administration functions.

• Familiarity with enrollment, eligibility, carrier reporting, and financial workflows within healthcare, insurance, or benefits administration sectors.

• Ability to collaborate across business, accounting, operations, and technology teams.

• Exceptional communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience in interpreting data models, API and interface specifications, and integration documentation.
