AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain AWS and cloud infrastructure.

• Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

• Administer Kubernetes environments on EKS and AKS, encompassing deployments, Helm charts, RBAC, and networking.

• Containerize applications with Docker.

• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks through Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.

• Execute GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.

• Handle secrets management with Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.

• Configure and troubleshoot networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs.

• Monitor and resolve issues in production environments utilizing CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of comprehensive DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure experience.

• Significant hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, ALB/NLB, Route53, and CloudFormation.

• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure DevOps, and the fundamentals of Azure networking/storage.

• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including modules, remote state management, and provider configuration.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), including deployments, Helm charts, RBAC, and networking.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Scripting proficiency using Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.

• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.

• Experience with secrets management solutions like Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in production environments.
