Aviation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Supervising projects and acting as a client manager for airport design and construction initiatives

• Offering guidance to junior staff and ensuring quality assurance/control

• Actively participating in projects from the design phase through to completion

• Overseeing project planning, obtaining regulatory approvals, ensuring environmental compliance, managing financial planning, legislative strategy, land acquisition, and design phasing

• Engaging in marketing and client development efforts

• Supervising and mentoring staff

• Ensuring the quality of project designs and contract documents

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

• PE License is mandatory

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the airport design and/or construction sector

• Experience in airport design and project management is essential

• Required experience in aviation engineering and construction administration

• In-depth knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process

• Proficient computer skills

• Capability to lead and mentor current staff and nurture new talent to support the growth of the aviation team
