This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +5 more states.
• Design AV & BMS engineering systems for high-end villas and boutique hotels, ensuring adherence to local building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other engineers to seamlessly integrate systems into projects.
• Engage in spatial coordination with architectural and structural models while exploring efficient methodologies, equipment, and systems.
• Address technical issues and challenges that arise during the design phase.
• Lead the creation of detailed drawings, technical documentation, and system specifications utilizing CAD tools, with support from BIM modelers.
• Conduct market research on the latest features and equipment.
• Oversee equipment selection to align with project specifications and sustainability objectives.
• Participate in value engineering discussions that balance cost, quality, and performance.
• Supervise the design development process and review as well as approve deliverables from third-party designers, consultants, and surveyors.
• Stay informed about technologies, trends, and regulations concerning AV & BMS systems in the luxury and hospitality sectors.
• Work autonomously, coordinate with the team as required, and deliver intermediate results on a weekly basis.
• Report to the MEP design manager and collaborate with the wider design team and client representatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Building Engineering with a focus on AV & BMS systems.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in design consultancy or as a general contractor.
• Familiarity with low-rise residential and hospitality projects, including private residences, villas, hotels, and resorts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Capability to work independently, coordinate with the team, and deliver intermediate results weekly.
