Automotive Technician – Flying Doctor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee escalated technical cases from front-line support, validate information, conduct thorough analyses, and establish corrective measures.

• Offer both remote and on-site assistance to dealers and technical teams, particularly regarding electric buses, to guarantee prompt and effective vehicle repairs.

• Create concise and organized technical reports for OEM and internal stakeholders, emphasizing risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Track activity KPIs such as case aging, recurrence, and first-time fix rates, and identify early warning signs of product or process issues.

• Contribute to the technical knowledge database and best practice guidelines.

• Aid in the ongoing development of Level 1 agents and workshops.

• Provide field-based, on-site technical support throughout Serbia.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical background in the automotive sector with experience in diagnostics and complex repairs (dealer, workshop, or OEM setting).

• Demonstrated capability to analyze technical data, fault codes, and log files to pinpoint root causes and recurring vehicle issues.

• Proficient in converting OEM technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and procedures into clear repair instructions for workshops.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to clearly explain complex technical subjects in an easily understandable manner.

• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach, logical thinking, and an inquisitive nature.

• Capable of working effectively in multi-market, multi-stakeholder environments.
