Automotive Systems Engineer, ISO 26262

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development lifecycle of automotive products by implementing ISO 26262 functional safety procedures.

• Aid in the creation and evaluation of safety work products, such as HARA, FMEA, FTA, and Safety Requirements.

• Work together with systems, software, and hardware teams to ensure the effective implementation of safety requirements.

• Facilitate investigations into safety issues, perform root cause analyses, and develop corrective measures.

• Contribute to safety documentation, compliance efforts, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, systems engineering, embedded systems, or functional safety.

• Understanding of ISO 26262 and the functional safety lifecycle.

• Knowledge of HARA, FMEA, FTA, and the development of safety requirements.

• Proficiency in English at a B2-C1 level.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
