This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining clients in the automotive dealership sector.
• Foster and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers.
• Recognize opportunities for portfolio expansion by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Floorplan Company services.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and align services with industry developments.
• Oversee the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio to ensure client satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Provide training and assistance to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Create and maintain risk assessment models to gauge dealership creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolio metrics, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry and its various segments.
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding of key financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and collaborate with internal team members and external partners.
• Effective time management skills and the capability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently and thrive in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field along with 3 years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, including some overnight trips.
• Ability to travel by air and road.
• Capability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Guaranteed bonus income: $2,000 per month for the first 4 months (prorated for month 1), $1,500 for months 5 and 6, $1,000 for month 7, and $333 for months 8-12.
• Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program averaging $450 each month.
