Automation Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable test automation frameworks and architectures.

• Establish and implement automated testing strategies for web applications and REST APIs.

• Build and uphold automated regression testing methodologies.

• Adopt BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles.

• Design and carry out performance testing.

• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, especially in Azure DevOps settings.

• Generate automated tests utilizing Playwright, Selenium, Karate, Gatling, or comparable technologies.

• Work collaboratively with development and engineering teams to set quality benchmarks across the software development lifecycle.

• Employ quality engineering methods for solutions involving Large Language Models, AI Agents, and Agentic Workflows.

• Assist in the assessment and verification of AI-generated outputs and AI-enhanced development workflows.

• Strive for constant enhancement of testing methodologies, automation coverage, and quality practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or a comparable Quality Engineering position.

• Significant expertise in test automation architecture and automation methodologies.

• Robust experience in API and Web Testing.

• Familiarity with BDD and regression testing methodologies.

• Experience in Performance Testing.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes and Azure DevOps.

• Proficient in one or more automation technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Karate, Gatling, or similar tools.

• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other related languages.

• Strong comprehension of REST APIs.

• Experience with Git and version-control practices.

• Proficiency in English: B2 level or above.

• Practical experience or working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, Tool Calling, AI Orchestration, Specification-Driven Development, AI-assisted code generation, or the evaluation and validation of AI-generated outputs.
