Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze internal business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and evaluate them based on their advantages and implementation efforts.

• Create workflows utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and n8n.

• Develop custom scripts, tailored integrations, and unique nodes.

• Automatically generate, organize, send, and monitor documents.

• Streamline standardized communication processes.

• Link Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft 365 applications, and other business systems through connectors, APIs, and webhooks.

• Organize data flows and interfaces with an emphasis on maintainability, error management, and permissions.

• Collaborate on architectural decisions and systems of record with internal system and process stakeholders.

• Test automation solutions, consider exceptions, and set up error handling and monitoring systems.

• Sustain and enhance existing automations continuously.

• Align requirements with business units and IT departments.

• Clearly document workflows and assist teams in their utilization.

• Assess the efficiency of automations.

• Create reusable components for further use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in business process automation.

• Extensive expertise with Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, connectors, expressions, and error management.

• Familiarity with n8n workflows, application integrations, data processing, and systematic error analysis.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or Python.

• Experience with code-based data transformations, custom business logic, and interface integrations.

• Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

• Proficient in REST APIs, JSON, and various authentication methods.

• Initial practical experience with Microsoft Graph.

• Hands-on experience integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and processing CRM data through Dataverse, connectors, or APIs.

• Understanding of data relationships, data quality, and systems of record (single source of truth).

• Capability to convert business requirements into maintainable solutions.

• Strong dedication to quality in testing, documentation, access permissions, and responsible data management.

• Proficiency in German at a minimum C1 level, both written and verbal.

• Good English skills for technical documentation.

• Experience with Power Apps or PowerShell, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Graph, is a plus.

• Experience in developing custom n8n nodes is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or integrating AI services into workflows is beneficial.

• Experience with Power Automate Desktop is advantageous.

• Knowledge of version control and the regulated transition of changes from testing to production environments is a plus.

• Experience with BPMN or similar methods is a plus.
