This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Assess customer applications to identify the most suitable products, services, retrofits, upgrades, controllers, software, and equipment.
• Create proposals, quotations, estimates, invoices, as well as sales and service reports.
• Support Account Managers in sales efforts and participate in sales calls alongside Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Segment Managers.
• Market preventive maintenance, retrofits, new equipment, controllers, drive packages, software, as well as used and reconditioned equipment.
• Install and evaluate robotic systems, shape cutting systems, welding systems, subassemblies, and parts.
• Instruct operators on proper equipment operation, sequencing, and process optimization.
• Engage in territory planning and collaborate with sales managers, account managers, segment managers, and supplier representatives.
• Attend War Room Meetings.
• Contribute to sales and expense budget planning.
• Diagnose, repair, assemble, and assess industrial automation equipment and components.
• Interpret work orders, testing manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Evaluate functional performance under specific environmental conditions.
• Analyze test results, identify failure causes, replace faulty wiring and components, and send units for manufacturer repair.
• Design test equipment configurations for nonstandard or customer-returned units.
• Conduct sales presentations and perform sales and service visits at customer sites.
• Manage parts ordering and oversee repair-parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety best practices, report unsafe conditions, and lead safe work initiatives.
• Proficient in the sales and maintenance of robotic systems, shape cutting systems, and welding systems.
• Computer proficiency for preparing sales and service proposals and report documentation.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical institution.
• Three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly; some overnight travel may be necessary.
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation for work-related travel.
• Capability to troubleshoot, assess applications and processes, dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial automation and components.
• Preferred: Supplier factory training on equipment, processes, software, controllers, and drives.
• Base salary plus commission.
