Automation Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Propel automation sales expansion and enhance brand loyalty by engaging with customers, distributors, and internal teams.

• Partner with the sales team on strategic account development to secure end-user business.

• Create presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value of solutions.

• Maintain consistent communication with sales, distributors, end-users, and various divisions.

• Provide insights regarding competition, innovation, and customer requirements to divisional resources.

• Focus territory efforts on key accounts and activities utilizing an 80/20 approach.

• Oversee project scopes and timelines effectively.

• Offer expertise in robotic welding applications and automated welding systems.

• Assist customers and integrators with system setup, parameter selection, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Provide training, demonstrations, and continuous technical support to end users, OEMs, and distribution partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding or a related field, with a background in robotics, controls, and advanced welding processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Previous sales experience is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

• Must be willing to travel overnight at least 50 - 75% of the time.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Solid business acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Skills in presentation, time management, project management, collaboration, and interpersonal communication.
