Principal Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance for Zscaler’s Zero Trust Browser solutions, taking ownership of product success and architectural strategies throughout the sales process.

• Facilitate both in-person and virtual meetings with customer executives and practitioners.

• Deliver executive-level presentations on Zscaler’s browser security strategy and lead in-depth technical workshops.

• Clearly explain browser-layer security measures, including threat monitoring, attack prevention, in-browser DLP, secure private application access, and Privileged Remote Access.

• Create technical documentation such as best-practice guides, proof-of-value test plans, demo resources, and reference architectures.

• Assist and oversee proof-of-value initiatives, technical assessments, and initial deployments.

• Aid customers in validating architecture, policy design, and operational suitability for Zero Trust Browser applications.

• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to achieve technical successes and enhance product offerings.

• Report directly to the Director of Product Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of AI/ML technologies, with experience in leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.

• More than 7 years of professional experience in product management, presales, product specialization, or professional services within the fields of infrastructure technology or cybersecurity.

• Extensive technical knowledge in browser security, Zero Trust architecture, private application access, privileged access use cases, and modern web security controls.

• Strong grasp of HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and secure access patterns for both web and private applications.

• Demonstrated success in creating technical materials and supporting go-to-market strategies that lead to favorable sales results.

• Experience in implementing or securing AI-powered threat detection or LLM data loss prevention controls in enterprise browser settings.

• Profound hands-on experience with Zscaler products, including Zero Trust Browser, ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Client Connector, and Privileged Remote Access.

• Familiarity with browser extensions, browser-layer telemetry, in-browser DLP, and controls that secure activities across SaaS, web, and private applications.
