Automation and Workflow Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

• Create and develop automation tools and workflows that enhance efficiency.

• Diagnose issues and implement improvements when necessary.

• Assist in the ongoing development of tools, systems, and workflows.

• Quantitatively track, measure, and present ROI results of solutions to leadership.

• Map system logic and identify commonalities across accounts to establish strategic workflow priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional experience in a technology-oriented or workflow automation setting.

• Strong programming skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java).

• Practical experience in building AI-integrated automations using prompt engineering and connecting systems via APIs (Gemini or similar).

• Proficient in workflow and process mapping, including designing process logic and recognizing common patterns across an account.

• Good working knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.

• Experience across the entire build lifecycle: design, build, deploy, and maintain.

• Confident in using data tools to evaluate automation performance and present ROI to leadership.

• Familiarity with the Google ecosystem (Workspace, Cloud, Looker Studio, etc.) is a plus.

• Knowledge of system integrations, networking, and cloud environments is beneficial.

• Experience supporting production applications and runtime environments is advantageous.

• Experience creating custom performance-tracking dashboards is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

• A growth mindset and a strong sense of accountability.

• Technical proficiency coupled with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

• Ability to work across technical teams and business leadership.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
