This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide service and conduct preventative maintenance on Stanley automatic door operating systems and other electro/mechanical equipment.
• Execute service and repair tasks in a manner that is both profitable and appropriate.
• Track productive time against travel time.
• Carry out preventive maintenance following customer-specific service protocols.
• Keep accurate work records and document the parts utilized in each job.
• Stay informed about updates and changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Ensure manuals and technical details are current.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other assets.
• Keep an adequate inventory of parts for the service vehicle and maintain inventory logs.
• Foster strong customer relations and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist and provide guidance to others in installation and service techniques.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Record and a Valid Driver's License.
• Physical ability to frequently ascend and descend ladders.
• Capacity to stand on concrete for several hours a day.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, or crawl, twisting the spine as needed.
• Willingness to work in diverse climates.
• Competence to work overhead.
• Ability to lift and/or carry weights ranging from 50 to 75 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule, including the ability to work nights and/or weekends, or on call as required.
• Previous experience servicing automated doors is preferred.
• Prior experience in construction, specifically installing door frames and windows, or as a glazier working with glass windows and doors is preferred.
• Background in electrical, automotive, or carpentry fields is preferred.
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus.
• $3,000 bonus upon completion of AAADM Certification.
