This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide service and conduct preventative maintenance on Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment along with other electro/mechanical devices serviced by the branch.
• Execute service and repair tasks in a profitable and effective manner.
• Track productive time in relation to travel time.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs.
• Keep precise records of work completed and parts utilized for each job.
• Stay informed about updates and modifications to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details current.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other assets.
• Ensure adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle and maintain inventory logs.
• Foster positive customer relations and deliver excellent customer service.
• Support and guide others in installation and service procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to work independently.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to frequently ascend and descend ladders.
• Capability to stand on concrete for several hours each day.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, and twist the spine.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform overhead tasks.
• Ability to lift and/or carry weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds.
• Flexibility in work schedule is essential: ability to work nights and/or weekends, or be on call as needed.
• Previous experience in servicing automated doors.
• Prior experience in the construction field, installing door frames and windows, or as a glazier installing glass windows and doors.
• Previous experience in electrical, automotive, or carpentry fields.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus.
• $3,000 bonus upon completion of AAADM Certification.
