This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide service and carry out preventative maintenance on Stanley automatic door operating systems along with other electro-mechanical devices.

• Conduct service and repair tasks in a profitable and efficient manner.

• Track productive time as opposed to travel time.

• Execute preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs.

• Keep precise records of work performed and parts utilized for each job.

• Stay informed about updates to Stanley equipment and modifications to ANSI 156.10 standards.

• Ensure manuals and technical information are current.

• Maintain the company’s vehicles, tools, and other assets.

• Keep an adequate inventory of parts for the service vehicle and maintain inventory logs.

• Foster positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.

• Support and train others in installation and service techniques.


⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities are essential.

• Capacity to work independently is required.

• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are necessary.

• Ability to frequently ascend and descend ladders.

• Capability to stand on concrete for several hours each day.

• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, or crawl, along with twisting the spine.

• Willingness to work in varying climates.

• Ability to work overhead.

• Capacity to lift and/or carry weights ranging from 50 to 75 lbs.

• Flexibility in work schedule: availability to work nights and/or weekends, or be on call as required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Previous experience in servicing automated doors is preferred.

• Prior construction experience in installing door frames and windows or experience as a glazier is preferred.

• Experience in electrical, automotive, or carpentry fields is preferred.
