This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive investigations for low-complexity insurance claims.

• Gather photographs, statements, police reports, and other necessary documentation.

• Assess damage to vehicles or other insured assets.

• Utilize industry-standard tools and software to estimate repair expenses and replacement values.

• Review insurance policies to confirm coverage, limitations, and exclusions.

• Analyze accidents or incidents to determine liability.

• Document all interactions, investigations, and assessments thoroughly.

• Communicate findings and decisions effectively to policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders.

• Negotiate fair and reasonable settlements.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.

• Respond to inquiries and provide regular updates to policyholders and claimants.

• Collaborate with underwriting and legal departments to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.

• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Achieve targets for productivity, cycle time, quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and timely claim resolution.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Four years of previous experience in insurance or customer service may be accepted in place of a degree.

• A Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License is required.

• A dual license in Texas is highly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Familiarity with property and casualty insurance policies, regulations, and procedures is advantageous.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows-based applications, and internet navigation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are necessary.

• Capability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple claims simultaneously.

• Must reside in one of the specified states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, or Virginia.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must fulfill employment eligibility requirements; UAIC participates in E-Verify.
