This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee and inspire claims personnel, ensuring that workflow, workload, and service standards are efficiently achieved.

• Formulate strategies aimed at reducing loss expenses while ensuring effective claim processing.

• Establish and evaluate performance metrics for accountability and team success.

• Supervise and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance while minimizing complaints.

• Manage, assess, and authorize claims, with a close watch on high-priority cases.

• Mentor adjusters to attain or surpass service goals and regulatory standards.

• Negotiate claims to secure favorable results and reduce costs.

• Promote teamwork within the Claims Department among staff, supervisors, and management.

• Recognize areas for process enhancement to ensure operational excellence.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in claims management.

• Experience in Indiana and/or Pennsylvania is preferred.

• Familiarity with Illinois, Tennessee, or Texas is advantageous.

• Experience in nonstandard auto insurance is a plus.

• Strong customer service abilities are essential.

• Expertise in fast-track claim processing is necessary.

• Proficient in negotiating with attorneys and pro se litigants.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Competence with technology and coverage/liability analysis is necessary.

• High level of responsibility, problem-solving, and organizational skills is essential.

• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
