Auto Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments for medical claims to insurance companies on behalf of hospitals and medical providers.

• Research and examine details of auto accidents to identify the appropriate payer.

• Initiate outbound calls to patients, representatives from insurance companies, and legal professionals.

• Submit invoices and necessary documentation to insurance firms.

• Ensure maximum payments are received for medical-provider clients.

• Identify follow-up actions and resubmit incorrectly paid invoices for additional reimbursement.

• Assist in generating denial reports, conducting audits, and providing overall support to the team.

• Uphold accuracy and productivity standards while handling a high volume of calls.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to operate multiple computer screens and software applications concurrently.

• Capability to maintain strong performance in a dynamic, high-outbound call center environment while meeting productivity metrics.

• Skill in remaining organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior experience with Coordination of Benefits and a basic understanding of insurance billing is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• A private, distraction-free home workspace is essential.

• Secure internet connection required.

• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Workspace should accommodate a laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, docking station, and headset.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Successful verification of employment history and background check is required.

• Candidates must reside in the United States within one of the designated eligible states.

• Active participation via camera during work hours is necessary.
