Auto Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers with insurance companies.

• Research and analyze details related to auto accidents to identify the appropriate payer.

• Communicate with patients, representatives from insurance companies, and attorneys.

• Submit bills along with the necessary documentation to insurance providers.

• Follow up and resubmit bills when claims are improperly paid.

• Assist in generating denial reports, conducting audits, and providing overall support to the team.

• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards within a fast-paced call center environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Technical capability to utilize multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.

• Ability to sustain strong performance in a dynamic, high-volume outbound call center setting with defined productivity metrics.

• Organized multitasking skills.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• A private, distraction-free home workspace.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Home internet speeds exceeding 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Must reside in one of the eligible states within the United States.
