This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations to verify facts related to basic and complex automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages while adjusting and negotiating claims within established authority limits.

• Manage coverage and liability inquiries on auto claims, including those related to diminished value.

• Focus on determining coverage and liability without performing vehicle appraisals.

• Organize inspections and collaborate with the appraisal process as necessary.

• Work alongside fraud or subrogation representatives to secure the most favorable outcomes.

• Recognize and identify vehicle body components and possible property damage.

• Understand customer needs and address them using effective customer service techniques.

• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and develop appropriate handling strategies.

• Utilize a solid understanding of company and industry insurance policies and organizational dynamics.

• Investigate all facets of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with autonomy and discretion.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in states within the Eastern time zone.

• Responsible for managing claims across the Northeastern states.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• The employer does not sponsor work visas for individuals.

• Active insurance license holders are required to terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must refrain from holding outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• Must have a dedicated and private workspace, free from distractions, when working remotely.

• Must possess suitable desk and seating arrangements.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.

• Knowledge of automobile accidents and vehicle body parts is essential.

• Must have a good understanding of insurance policies, coverage, liability, subrogation, and fraud.

• Strong customer service skills are necessary.

• Able to demonstrate analytical thinking, negotiation skills, claims administration, case management, claims review, and licensing knowledge.
