Auditor – Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Utilize intermediate subject matter expertise to address common business challenges.

• Conduct targeted ad-hoc audits.

• Identify inherent and residual risks while performing risk-based audits.

• Gain an understanding of audited functions, identifying findings and areas for improvement through business acumen, analytical capabilities, and experience.

• Supply ongoing progress updates and audit findings to team members.

• Engage in projects and audits actively.

• Conduct research and data analysis for moderately complex projects.

• Keep informed about new developments in the auditing field.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with a BS/BA or 9 years of experience with a HS Diploma.

• Generally, 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing.

• Intermediate knowledge of internal audit policies and operational principles.

• Intermediate comprehension of Medicaid or healthcare auditing and their revenue cycles.

• Intermediate skills in risk assessment and project scoping.

• Strong research and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Intermediate financial and business acumen.

• Basic project management capabilities.
