Audit Project Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare audit documentation and adjust trial balances.

• Send, receive, and monitor client confirmations.

• Maintain Caseware templates utilized by the department.

• Implement enhancements to the Caseware templates.

• Act as a power user of Caseware and Caseview.

• Conduct initial setup of Caseware files for clients and manage routine rollovers.

• Assist clients in maximizing opportunities through audit services.

• Support enhancements to financial reporting capabilities and internal controls.

• Evaluate accounting issues and new accounting regulations.

• Assess the quality of information for strategic business decisions.

• Identify areas for improved operational efficiencies.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree of 2 years or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in computer and technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Willingness to acquire new software skills.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Capability to work effectively and amicably with clients and colleagues.
