This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Create narration and audio learning materials for online courses.
• Oversee voiceover production for new course developments and updates, encompassing script preparation, pronunciation checks, AI generation or recording, editing, mastering, final delivery, and documentation of processes.
• Take full ownership of audio workflows from start to finish and identify, develop, test, and sustain automations that minimize manual effort and reduce turnaround time.
• Direct voice artists as needed, which includes scheduling sessions and providing guidance.
• Manage voice models and settings while assessing new voices and tools.
• Decide on the most suitable production method based on quality, speed, and cost considerations.
• Set and uphold audio standards, delivery requirements, documented workflows, and a pronunciation library.
• Organize and maintain the audio asset library, including versioning, traceability, and updates.
• Upload and configure audio assets in Aceable's proprietary learning management system and automate deployment whenever feasible.
• Conduct audio quality assurance prior to course publication and address post-launch audio concerns.
• Monitor content changes necessitating updated audio and ensure narration is synchronized with live course content.
• Anticipate voiceover capacity against the course production timeline and identify potential volume risks.
• Collaborate with LX content managers, visual designers, motion specialists, and the Automations team.
• Over 4 years of professional audio production experience in e-learning, audiobooks, podcasts, broadcasting, or a similar narration-focused environment.
• Practical experience and enthusiasm for AI voice generation tools, such as ElevenLabs.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n or Zapier, or scripting for batch media processing.
• Proficiency in a professional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic, or Reaper, including editing, noise reduction, restoration, and mastering to meet delivery specifications.
• Experience in producing long-form narration through recording, voice direction, or generation.
• Strong production judgment to decide when to utilize AI generation, live talent, existing audio, pickups, or complete re-records.
• Experience in managing and maintaining a large audio or media library, including file organization, version control, and ongoing updates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical partners and convert content changes into a production plan.
• Familiarity with After Effects or video production is an advantage.
• Experience in e-learning, edtech, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Experience in establishing production standards or workflows for a team is beneficial.
• Bilingual audio production experience, particularly in Spanish-language narration, is a plus.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira is advantageous.
• Comfort in working within a content management system or learning platform to upload, configure, and verify media assets is a plus.
