Audio Description Script Writer – Mandarin (Simplified)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and/or edit Mandarin (simplified) audio description narration scripts for film and television projects.

• Adhere to deadlines set by the DVW Project Manager and address any issues that may affect script submission.

• Ensure that audio description scripts align with DVW and client quality expectations.

• Review and proofread audio description scripts created by fellow writers.

• Collaborate effectively with other writers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion practices.

• Native fluency in Mandarin.

• Familiarity with audio description guidelines and industry best practices.

• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in audio description script writing or script quality control.

• Excellent grasp of Mandarin grammar and stylistic elements.

• Proficient comprehension of English.

• Experience in media production, localization, or copywriting is a plus.
