Assurance Manager – State & Local Government

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage OnPoint Audit SLG along with other attest products related to government and Yellow Book content, ensuring continuous adherence to relevant audit standards.

• Collaborate with clients to create and enhance top-tier workflows for state and local government audits.

• Partner with the Caseware Platform and Solutions teams to provide timely and precise content updates.

• Assist in go-to-market initiatives concerning state and local government audit content, including contributions to positioning, messaging, and materials for clients.

• Collaborate with the Support team to resolve customer inquiries related to methodology.

• Keep abreast of changing audit standards (GAGAS, GASB, and related guidance) to proactively recognize and implement content enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid CPA license.

• Minimum of 4 years of auditing experience in state and local government, including knowledge of Yellow Book (GAGAS) standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of government audit workflows and attest standards.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Direct experience utilizing Caseware products for conducting engagements.

• Familiarity with Claude and Claude Code.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience working with product or software development teams.
