This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the maintenance, optimization, and potential expansion of state dashboard tools that centralize data collection and reporting across all 50 states.
• Ensure that state-level data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for stakeholders within the organization.
• Identify and analyze changing state-level trends and evaluate their impacts on business operations.
• Lead discussions regarding strategic changes in response to regulatory or market developments.
• Collaborate with Assessment, Adoptions/Bids and Proposals, Educator Success, Marketing, Sales, Assessment Insights, Research, and State Solutions teams.
• Gather, display, and leverage state-level data within Curriculum Associates tools and processes.
• Create and present customized resources, regular reports, and interactive dashboards.
• Foster a high-performance, high-quality culture alongside the Vice President of Policy and Engagement.
• Conduct retrospectives and process evaluations while implementing best practices for continuous improvement.
• Promote collaboration and alignment among teams to ensure efficient execution of state strategies.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues related to state strategies and facilitate resolutions.
• Provide guidance to the Vice President of Policy and Engagement on team management matters and lead the government relations function as required.
• Oversee special cross-functional projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• Synthesize regional and national policy and market trends to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Collect and evaluate research and data to develop policy/business cases, policy proposals, and external communication materials.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in successfully managing cross-functional edtech/digital and/or assessment programs.
• In-depth knowledge of the state assessment and instructional materials market, the K-12 education landscape, the edtech market, and current curriculum and assessment trends.
• Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, showcasing teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Capability to manage ambiguity to define end goals, key results, and a clear path forward.
• Expertise in using and developing Smartsheet and other similar project management tools for collaboration (e.g., Sharepoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Proven decision-making capabilities, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable next steps for cross-functional audiences, including strategic recommendations, business cases, and policy proposals.
• Experience providing strategic or management support to senior leadership is preferred.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and the complete Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with state education policy, requirements, departments of education, and national trends in K-12 education.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience in product management is preferred.
• An MBA or MA in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with digital assessment and curricular products is preferred.
• Background in EdTech and publishing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Curriculum Associates products and services is preferred.
• Understanding of high-stakes assessment use cases is preferred.
• Travel up to 30% may be required, dependent on business needs.
