This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist Cigna Ventures, the strategic venture fund of The Cigna Group, in sourcing, assessing, and executing investment opportunities.

• Engage with portfolio companies and provide support for overall fund administration.

• Collaborate with internal business leaders and key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and effective post-investment execution.

• Identify emerging investment themes and develop or maintain strategic theses to guide sourcing efforts.

• Cultivate relationships throughout The Cigna Group to gain insights into strategic priorities and initiatives.

• Oversee and enhance data-driven processes for managing the deal pipeline.

• Qualify opportunities by initiating contact, gathering data, assessing information, and building relationships with founders.

• Analyze information from prospective companies and both internal and external experts.

• Lead significant aspects of investment diligence, which includes market, financial, and valuation analysis.

• Prepare well-crafted investment memos and other related materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking.

• Experience in healthcare services is preferred.

• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Exceptional research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various work streams and leadership levels.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to swiftly gather and synthesize information into clear, concise, and actionable messages.

• Proficiency in building meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.

• A reliable home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working remotely.
